A DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN

by Knight Cartrel James

To be a distinguished gentleman,

Is to be a man of class and taste,

Whose knowledge and wisdom are vast.

It is to be a man of honor,

Whose word is his bond,

And whose integrity is beyond reproach.

It is to be a man of compassion,

Whose heart is open to others,

And who is always willing to lend a helping hand.

It is to be a man of courage,

Who stands up for what he believes in,

Even when it is unpopular.

It is to be a man of style,

Who knows how to dress and carry himself,

With confidence and grace.

It is to be a man of culture,

Who appreciates the finer things in life,

And who is always learning and growing.

It is to be a man of distinction,

Who is respected and admired by all,

And who leaves a positive mark on the world.
